tomrocks – wer oder was ist das? nunja, tom ist tomrocks – dj, freund elektronischer musik, technikbegeisterter partygänger, aber auch ein mensch mit einer ehrlichen meinung und genug mut diese auch auszusprechen.
elektronische musik fand schon sehr früh den weg in tom’s leben, aber erst seit 1999 ist er auch als dj in verschiedenen clubs und auf privatveranstaltungen unterwegs. ursprünglich inspirierten ihn die treibenden beats und unerbittlichen bässe von hardtechno. nach jahren hinter den turntables, auf den tanzflächen der republik und einem stets offenen ohr am puls der musikszene, hat er als künstler viele spielarten elektronischer musik entdeckt. generell ist sein musikalisches spektrum weit und er ist offen für jeden nur erdenklichen einfluss. von house über minimal bis hin zu den düsteren und treibenden klängen von acts wie Marcel Dettmann oder Chris Liebing ist tom nichts fremd.
er ist aktives mitglied des größten und einflussreichsten boards für elektronische musik, USB – The Hardtechno Family, der keimzelle vieler international bekannter künstler wie Frank Kvitta, Amok, Sven Wittekind, Viper XXL oder Arkus P. ausserdem ist tom der initiator der “Electronic Deluxe” podcastreihe mit startdatum 2012.

tomrocks – who or what is it? well, tom is tomrocks. so much for the easy side. tomrocks is a friend of electronic music, technology enthusiastic, dj, but also a person with an honest opinion and the balls to say what he’s thinking.
electronic music was very early a part of tom’s life, and since 1999, he is also known as a professional dj in various clubs and at private events on the road. originally inspired by the driving beats and bass of unrelenting hardtechno. after years spent behind the turntables, dancing on many german dancefloors as well always been in touch with music and media, he had grown as an artist and discovered various ways to create a style of his own. his musical range generally is far and he is open to every imaginable influention. if it’s harmonious house music, minimal or dark and deep beats like marcel dettmann or chris liebing – all this is part of his influition.
tom is a aktive member of the biggest and most influential board for elektronic music, USB – The Hardtechno Family. this also is the place where much of actual international acts like Frank Kvitta, Amok, Sven Wittekind, Viper XXL or Arkus P. come from. he’s also head of the “Electronic Deluxe” podcast series, startet in 2012.
